On August 4, 1970 the Village of Oak Harbor enacted Income Tax Ordinance 623 imposing a tax of 1% effective October 1, 1970. The tax is imposed on all residents of Oak Harbor regardless of where they are employed, all non-residents of Oak Harbor for work done, services performed or rendered in the Village of Oak Harbor. Tax returns are due on or before April 15 each year. Quarterly estimates are required.
All Village of Oak Harbor residents must file annual village income tax returns, whether or not they have been fully withheld and/or have a municipal income tax to another community.
